Biographical Info

Judy Wolf, PCC, ACMC, partners with coaches to co-create a collegial and collaborative self-reflective learning space grounded in a compassionate, organic approach.

Judy is credentialed by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Advanced Certified Team Coach (ACTC).  She is also accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) as a coach supervisor (ESIA) and as an individual (EIA) and team (ITCA) coach, both at the Senior Practitioner level.  Judy has trained with Damian Goldvarg, MCC, and with Renewal Associates as an individual, group, and systemic team coaching supervisor; and with Fran Fisher, MCC, as an Advanced Certified Mentor Coach (ACMC).  She serves as faculty and a team coaching supervisor for the Systemic Team Coaching program led by Professor Peter Hawkins.

As a supervisor and mentor coach, Judy brings a compassionate, systems-aware lens and a capacity to move fluidly between big picture patterns and the more nuanced details of an interaction or dilemma.  She partners with professional coaches to co-create a self-reflective space where coaches can unpack and learn from client cases; identify patterns and growth opportunities for themselves and their clients; wrestle with and find clarity around ethical issues and gray areas; hone in on skills to more consciously improve; and recharge and nourish themselves as human beings in order to show up as whole and fully present in sessions (and in the world).

Coming into mentor coaching from a systemic coaching and supervision background, Judy’s approach to mentor coaching is founded on partnership and self-reflection.  Her goal is to collaborate with coaches to discover their own unique style and strengths while leaning into their growing edge.  In all her work, she brings a compassionate, good-humored willingness to be human, which combines conversational, emotional, social, and somatic intelligence, as well as a background in mindfulness, yoga, neuroscience, trauma-informed coaching, and mediation.

Judy has provided executive, leadership, and team coaching to a diverse global client base in a wide range of industries from Fortune 100 and federal agencies to small businesses, local governments, and nonprofits.  She works with direct clients (individuals and teams) and has worked as a subcontractor for both boutique leadership development and global coaching organizations.  She also co-coaches, co-facilitates, and co-supervises with other coaches and supervisors, serves on coach training faculties, and has participated in team engagements, resulting is a broad and deep range of experience and insights regarding interpersonal dynamics.

Judy’s passion for supervision and systemic team coaching reflects a deep curiosity and comfort with complexity and multi-layered systems.  She has training in a wide range of individual and team coaching modalities and is continually integrating new perspectives and approaches into her coaching, supervision, and mentoring toolbox.

A former C-suite communications executive, Judy has worked for companies including United Parcel Service, an international telecommunications firm, one of the leading disaster recovery firms in the U.S., the nation’s third-largest independent living center (advocating for people with disabilities), and for the NYS Small Business Development Center network supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs.

Judy holds a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in management, as well as certifications and training in Systemic Team Coaching (Senor Practitioner and faculty), 6 Team Conditions, Organizational & Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC), Trauma-Informed Coaching, Vertical Leadership Development, Aletheia Coaching, Positive Intelligence, Conversational Intelligence, Narrative Coaching, Inner Development Goals, Inclusive Leadership, Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Kripalu Yoga, Organizational Mindfulness, and many more.  She is a member of the board of Coaching for Social Justice, serves as Co-Secretary for the new EMCC USA Region, and volunteers with Coaching Ethics Forum as Case Study Group Coordinator.  Judy is also an active participant in the ongoing ACMC (Advanced Certified Mentor Coach) Learning Group, which she helped launch and coordinates.

In terms of her approach to coaching, Judy brings a spirit of creative exploration and a willingness to meet each moment as it comes.  She combines a wide range of modalities into her own intuitive and organic blend that meets clients where they are with tools, resources, and approaches that are responsive to whatever is emerging while remaining informed by an overall sense of direction determined in partnership with her client.

Judy is also a published author who has backpacked solo around the world, ridden her bike across large portions of the U.S. and Canada, climbed some of the world’s highest mountains, and whitewater kayaked wilderness rivers on multi-day self-supported trips.  She has a strong belief in the value and importance of integrating intercultural competence and an awareness of social justice issues and ecosystemic impacts into the work that we do as coaches.  As part of this dedication, she serves on the board of directors of Coaching for Social Justice and facilitates DEIJB conversations for a US-based DEI coaching organization.
